Hello,
I am researching the GIBASON family of Coatesville.
William Gibason, b. Delaware, died sometime before 1920, when the
family appears on the 1920 census as living on Oak St. in Coatesville.
Perhaps buried in Port Penn, DE.
Living in Coatesville by 1920:
Hattie W. Jackson GIBASON, his wife, b. MD, buried Fairview Cemetery,
C-ville.
John Gibason, son, worked at Lukens Steel Mill, buried at St.
Cecilia's
Cemetery.
Joseph GIBASON, son, born 1905 in Port Penn, DE, worked at
Lukens
Steel Mill at age 16 in 1920, married Irene HOLLINGSWORTH,
Joseph died 1965 & is buried at Fairview Cemetery.
Raymond Gibason, son, born 1912 in Port Penn, DE, died in 1924,
buried in Fairview Cemetery.
I am most interested in Joseph Cleaver GIBASON, listed above. He is
my paternal grandfather, although I would appreciate any information about
other Gibason family members. They attended the Presbyterian Church on
Lincoln
Highway in Coatesville, which is now Coatesville Bible Fellowship.

I am also researching the HOLLINGSWORTH family of Coatesville.
Francis J. ("Frank") HOLLINGSWORTH, b. 1875 in London, England, d.
1971 in
Coatesville, buried at St. Cecila's Cemetery.
Louise O'ROURKE HOLLINGSWORTH, his wife, b. 1876 in Ireland and maybe
in County Donegal. She had a twin sister Annie and another
sister "Dee"
and a brother, but they remained in Philadelphia. Louise died
1938 in
Coatesville and is buried at St. Cecilia's Cemetery.
Frank & Louise met and married in Philadelphia, where their families
lived in
the Germantown section. They moved to Coatesville by 1910.
Also living with Frank & Louise was Frank's father, George A.
HOLLINGSWORTH, b. 1854 in Hertford, Hertfordshire, England, died
1938
in Coatesville, PA, buried at St. Cecilia's. George's wife was
Clara AKERS,
born in Herfordshire, England,not buried in Coatesville, I
assume she died
before the family moved to Coatesville.
One of the children of Frank & Louise was Irene HOLLINGSWORTH,
b.
1908, died 1969 in Coatesville, buried at St. Cecilia's
Cemetery. She was
my paternal grandmother.
I would appreciate hearing about any of the Hollingsworth's,
especially
Frank, Louise, and Irene. They attended St. Cecili'as Church in
Coatesville.
I have gathered information from the families' churches and cemeteries in
Coatesville,
but would love to hear more.
