A few weeks ago someone asked about Coatesville and a rolling mill. My 100 year old KERST cousin lived most of her life in Coatesville and I asked her about it.
Here is her reply:
' I think it would be Lukens ,in Coatesville. Several months ago there was a movie on television about Rebecca Lukens who was left a widow with 3 small children and she took her husband's place in running the mill.'

She said is was later called Lukens Steel.
