Catharine LANDES youngest daughter of Carl LANDES married Sebastian
RUTH/ROOT both of Chester Co. 13 May 1798 at E Vincent Reformed church.
Death record for Catharine in the same church records, Catharina, widow of
Sebastian Root age 54 (or 59) yr, 4 mos Feb 13 1833 burial 15 Feb 1833.

I am searching for parents of my gr2grandfather, Daniel LANDIS born
10/27/1803, and Carl seems like a good candidate to have some descendents!
I first found Daniel LANDIS in 1840 in E Nantmeal and then 1850-60 in
Warwick Twp. In 1870 N Coventry, then he died in 4/1878 and is buried in St
Peter's UCC Cemetery. I am hoping that maybe Carl LANDES had some sons and
one might be the father of my Daniel! If his youngest dau married in 1798,
maybe there are other male children who could have had a son Daniel!
