I am looking for information on or the descendents of Peter CONFER, born August
31, 1806 in Gregg Twp., Centre Co., PA to Frederick CONFER and Elizabeth WERNER.
I found Peter's Baptism in the Penn's Creek Lutheran Church records of Gregg
Twp., Centre Co., PA. (CONFER can also be found with alternate spellings:
CONFERE, CONFAIR, CONFEHR, CONFARE, etc.)

Sometime prior to 1821, Frederick CONFER moved his family from Centre Co., PA to
Buffalo Twp., Armstrong Co., PA. His wife Elizabeth died before 1826, and
Frederick remarried to Catherine (Unknown), widow of John BISH. In 1850,
Frederick and Catherine are living in Porter Twp., Clarion Co., PA. Frederick
had several known daughters: Catherine (Confer) NULF, Rebecca (Confer) BISH,
Elizabeth (Confer) BISH, and Sarah (CONFER) YALE HIMES. I have volumes of info
on the daughters, but I know ~nothing~ about brother Peter CONFER, who by all
accounts was the only son born to Frederick and Elizabeth (WERNER) CONFER.

Did Peter survive to raise a family? Any info appreciated.
