Looking for Ogden researchers that might be able to make a connection with my research or might know what might have happen to the Ogden name after settling in Clarion County area. Thanks,Butch George

Forg Potter George said that his grandfather, Archibald George, came to Clarion County shortly after the first settlers. He was warranted a large tract of land by the Commonwealth of Penn. It began at Little Piney Creek and extended westward, including such lands as later became the property of Ogden Heirs, Uriah George, Harrison George, Samuel George, and others. This tract was covered with virgin timber. The pine was sawed into lumber and sold at Elk City during the oil boom there, and the hardwood was made into charcoal and used in the Limestone iron furnace
