Isadore N. Adelson
Isadore N. Adelson, 91, a former Oil City resident, died at 8:10 a.m.
Monday, March 21, 2005, at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Fla.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the Morrison
Funeral Home, with services scheduled there at 11 a.m. Thursday

Pauline Elizabeth Anderson
Pauline Elizabeth Anderson, 83, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of
Oil City, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at HQM in Port Charlotte.
Born Aug. 7, 1921, in Oil City, she was the daughter of William and
Bessie Ritchie.
Mrs. Anderson was married for 54 years to Gerald C. Anderson, who
preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Gerald W. and Linda Anderson; a
daughter-in-law, Lupita Ongay Gatlin; a grandson, Todd Erick Anderson;
a granddaughter, Aleli Renee Anderson; and four nephews and a niece,
Bob, Tom, Jim, Terry and Debbie.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Anderson was preceded in
death by a brother, William Ritchie; and a sister, Dorothy Barr.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. today in the Port
Charlotte United Methodist Church, Port Charlotte.
Interment will be in Rynd Farm Cemetery, Rouseville, at a later date.
The Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Rouseville United Methodist
Church, 12 Church St., Rouseville, 16344.
Agnes Gadley
Agnes Gadley, 87, of Brunswick, Ohio, formerly of Marienville, died
Monday, March 21, 2005, in Southwest General Hospital, Middleburg
Heights, Ohio.
The Ronald McDonald Funeral Home in Marienville is in charge of
arrangements.

Willard Lee Resh
Willard Lee Resh, 64, of Hanover, Ill., formerly of Rockford, Ill.,
and Lamartine, died Friday, March 18, 2005, in the Galena Stauss
Hospital, Galena, Ill.
Born July 28, 1940, in Boswell, he was the son of Asa and Minnie
Ulrey Resh.
He attended East Rockford High School, Rockford, Ill.,
Mr. Resh was a truck driver, owner-operator for many years, retiring
in 1997.
He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in
Hanover, Ill., and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Resh also belonged to the Mississippi Flyway Sportsman Club,
Thomson, Ill., the Savanna, Ill., Moose Lodge, the North American
Hunting Club and the National Rifle Association.
He loved to hunt, was an avid trap shooter and was an ardent and
faithful fan of the Chicago Bears. He was devoted to his family and
enjoyed spending time with his grandsons.
Mr. Resh was married in Rockford, Ill., May 21, 1960, to Rita
Harkness, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Brett Resh and wife, Dawn, of
Rockford, Ill., Brian Resh of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Blaine Resh of
Lamartine; and four grandsons, Christopher, Benjamin, Samuel and Ryan.
He also is survived by five brothers, Kenneth Resh and wife, Dolores,
of Somerset, Terry Resh and wife, Kay, of Jennerstown, Ted Resh and
wife, Dolores, and Harold Resh, all of Newton Falls, Ohio, and Dane
Resh and wife, Sherry, of Rockford, Ill.; two sisters, Eldeen Leasure
and husband, Eddie, of West Farmington, Ohio, and Judy Christiansen
and husband, Melton, of Poplar Grove, Ill.; and many nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Resh was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his
stepmother, Eleanor Brennen Resh; and a sister, Helen Brooks.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the Law-Jones
Funeral Home, Hanover, Ill.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in
St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hanover with the Rev.
Christopher Kuhn presiding.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Hanover.
Memorials may be given in Mr. Resh's name.
Michael K. Starrett
Michael K. Starrett, 48, of 7 E. Second St., Oil City, died at 4:58
a.m. Sunday, March 20, 2005, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca.
Born Jan. 10, 1957, in Port Allegany, he was the son of Warren L.
Starrett Jr. and Barbara Liggett Starrett.
Mr. Starrett had worked in construction.
Surviving are a son, Matthew Starrett of Texas; a brother, Gregory
Starrett of Leesburgh, Va.; and three sisters, Mary Ann Starrett of
Arcadia, Fla., Elizabeth DeVore of Hagerstown, Md., and Susanna Tobon
of Boston, Mass.
He was preceded in death by his father.
There will be no visitation.
A service will be held at 3:30 p.m. today in Christ Episcopal Church,
Oil City.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, Oil City.
The Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge of
arrangements.
Charles R. Wert
Charles R. Wert of Knox RD died Monday morning, March 21, 2005, in
his daughter's home in Distant.
The William N. Rupert Mortary in Knox is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial service set for Judge Breene
Members of Oil City Masonic Lodge No. 710, F&AM, will hold a memorial
service for their departed brother, Judge William E. Breene, at 11
a.m. Wednesday in Christ Episcopal Church, Oil City.
Gonzalez memorial set Thursday
A memorial service for Margaret Gonzalez, 69, of Stark, Fla.,
formerly of Oil City, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Reinsel
Funeral Home.
The service is open to family and friends.
Miss Gonzalez died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, in Lakeworth, Fla.,
Getting it right
Charles C. Jackson - Charles C. Jackson, 85, of Kittanning Pike,
Parker, Allegheny Township, Butler County, died at 7:25 a.m. Sunday,
March 20, 2005, at his residence. Mr. Jackson and his wife, Lucille
Beals Jackson, were married Jan. 26, 1940. She preceded him in death
Sept. 6, 1990.
Getting it right
Lemuel DeWayne Sharrar - Lemuel DeWayne Sharrar, 77, of Scottsdale,
Pa., formerly of Oil City, died at 9:20 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2005,
in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, following an extended illness.
Among his survivors is a son, Randy Sharrar of Oil City.
