Passed Over the River

George HARTSHORN, colored, died at the home of his daughter, near
Curwensville, Thursday, July 26, aged 79 years. Deceased was well known in
the south-western section of the county, having resided in Penn. Township
for many years, where he was a successful farmer.

Mrs. Theodore BROWN died at her home on Third street yesterday afternoon
from a complication of diseases which necessitated an operation on Sunday.
She was about 43 years of age and is survived by her husband, two daughters,
Mrs. Robert Weaver, of the Third Ward, Miss Lelia and one son.
