Renee is correct about this book. I have the book and there are numerous
errors in it. The book is not reliable. Leah

Someone else on this list brought the fact to light yesterday to me that the
book written by Sister Mary Grace is being used for research. Do not, I
repeat, do not use this book as a research tool on the surname Waring or any
other name in it. I personally knew the Sister and am related to her, she
was a very gracious lady, but the information in the book can not always be
supported by facts and it is hard to tell when it is and when it isn't. I
never realized how much the information could hurt those that are descended
from the folks listed but it has. Please do your own research. This is one
example i.e. reason why people who work diligently to procure the true
sources tell you that is the only way to do your research. There is another
book on the Waring's written in the early 1900's by R.N. Waring, this book is
very good and is the one that you should use when researching Waring names
and their kin.
