Listers,

I recently received a copy of the Houtzdale map from the 1873 atlas. I wish to scan it and make it available in the same way the Blair County atlas maps are available.

The problem is that the map is really large. Even with a flatbed scanner it might take 4 or 5 passes to get it all. Anyone ever scan a map or something similar that was this large? Did you keep it as several separate files or did you use a graphics program and line everyting up into one big image?

Thanks for any advice,
Shawn McCormick
