But remember their could be a little girl or granddaughter somewhere
who will grow up and very much want to be a part of her father's family and
know you all. She will wonder why her father's sister (or grandfather's
sister as the story is of both in my family) was never invited into the
home. Why they left out the name in the obit of one sibiling. Wonder
how is was possible that they went to the same church and never said hello.
Then one day she finds you and is so happy to share her parents photos and
such. I just hope it doesn't that the 50 years like it happened to me.

If this x-brother has no children, remember to go to the garage sale where
all these things will probably end up-- with the family of the wife.

> You are not alone in the situation you describe - when my mother passed
away 3 years ago, my x-brother (yes ex-he doesn't deserve being part of the
family) and his wife took Mom's home and everything she owned (every photo
and photo album included). Mom wanted everything shared equally between us
3 kids but that didn't happen. Luckily, my sister and I have many photos of
our parents but no photos of the rest of Mom and Dad's families. He (the
x-brother) has nothing - no family - so nobody he can/will share the photos
with. Individuals like this are sick and greedy - no other explanation in
my opinion. They always say "what comes around goes around"...?
