post and secondarily you will not offend or upset anyone later on. Thank
you for your kindness and courtesy.

The following extractions are from Clearfield County land deeds, the
shorthand used here is AA-91 meaning Deed Book Volume AA, page 91. The
date that follows is the date of the transaction, not the date that it
was recorded in the Deed Book (which is not given here and in some cases
the recording date is not for many years after the transaction). Then
follows the names of the Grantors and after the word "TO" the Grantee(s)
. The abbreviations "ahw" and "ahh" are mine for "and his wife" and "and
her husband" Any explanatory comments of mine are in [brackets].
Although many of the names are "blood" relatives to each other, *only*
if the deed gives a specific relationship will it be given here. I have
tried to retain the spelling as it appears in the County Deed Book
Record. "Other names mentioned" (ONM) are generally mentioned in regards
to land description, prior conveyances of the land or as a witness; the
names of Justices of the Peace, Recorders, Sheriffs, most witnesses,
etc. are not given here.

The surnames that I have an interest in are Dixon, Hand, Heberling,
Rissinger, Shaffer and Soliday and the variation spellings. This listing
is not exhaustive and therefore does not include all the deeds with
those surnames.
