Hope some one can help me out. I have the following sentence
in a court document from the 1930's:
June 15th, 1936 B.W. issued to Morris Jones, C. D.
Would B.W. mean bounty or bond warrant? Would C. D. mean County Deputy?
Maybe someone knows if Morris Jones was a Deputy. This was a
case of someone fleeing the State to avoid being named the
father of an illegitimate child. Also at the top of the document were
the letters written, "F. & B."
