Sue:
I have an Amelia Shimmel, b. about 1856 in my notes.
Her parents are John Shimmel ( son of Lewis Shimmel and Margaret Foulk) and
Mary Jane Murray, born about 1831. She had siblings; Margaret, 1849 and
Alexander, 1851. Information is from census. John Shimmel was also married
to Ellen Larrimore?
