Hi Jeanie,

From your post, it would appear you could benefit with census research to
fill in the gaps about James and family.

As a genealogy researcher, I work from the National Archives on a daily
basis helping my clients find clues to their family trees through census
and military records. My fee is $7.50 per hour plus copy and postage
after the research is completed and received by my client. Most
researches are 3-4 hours initially, however often I am able to complete
initial research within 2-3 hours.

I also am a member of the Clinton County Genealogical Society and editor
of their newsletter. I've taken a few minutes to look through past issues,
but do not see any data about James' family contained in any of those
articles.

interesting challenge and I'd love to work with you.
