What was your father's background (Congregationalist or Evangelical
and Reformed)?
My maternal grandparents are members of St. John's United Church of
Christ in Bellefonte, formerly E & R, and before that German
Reformed, and my grandfather's cousin, Rev. C. Nevin Stamm, pastored
there from 1938 to 1947. My grandfather was recently honored as a
67-year member of the congregation.
