Hello Cindy,

You probably mean Porter Township, Clinton County. It was formed
from part of Lamar Township. Before 1839 this was part of Centre
County so you should find them in censuses in Lamar Township, Centre County.

There may be an estate on file in Lock Haven, the county seat of
Clinton County.
