Annette, I sent an Email to you on the 4th of February, and I wonder if I
sent to the wrong address. Upon looking up the letter I found a strange
character in the address--so I am posting again and sending the message

A while back, while investigating the book, County and Its People, I was
contacted by Jan Smock, who told me of some research you were doing about
the Daniels family of Crawford. I had just recently found that Lucy was the
wife of my gggrandfather, Hugh Brawley, in other words, my gggrandmother,
after some years of searching. Jan told me to contact you about this, and I
have been a bit hesitant to do so, because it seems a bit of an imposition.
I have finally gathered up enough nerve, so here I am. I wish to pay for any
expenses that you incur--you must receive many requests for information. and
shouldn't have to stand the cost of all this. Thank you in advance for your
help!
