The list has been good in finding all the information I need. I'm going back
another generation. The 1850 census lists Artemus SMITH, I have his dates as
1811-1850 so he must have died shortly after the census was taken. It lists
his wife as "Polly"
Polly is a nichname for what? Mary? Elizabeth? Does anyone know anything
about this woman. This family was known to live in Summerhill Township. Also
Pat found some of this family in the Denny Cemetery. Where is it. I will be
coming to PA this summer and would like to visit. Congrats on ghe newhome for
the historical Society. See you in July.
