I am looking for information on Florence Ruth THORNE who married a STEARNS.
Florence Ruth was a daughter of Francis Edwin and Jennie MAGILL THORNE, born
Apr. 30, 1869 in Sadsbury Twp. I do not know Mr. STEARNS name. I do know
they lived in Meadville area and their children were Arthur, Alene and
Florence Ruth. Arthur developed TB and so he and his sisters moved to NM.
Later he moved to Mesa, AZ. Alene I do not know of. Florence Ruth married
a Mr. St. John. His initials may have been E. S. Florence and Mr. St.
John lived in Las Cruces, NM. I think she may have died in 1985.

I would like to know about Florence Ruth THORNE STEARNS as she was the older
sister of my grandmother Gertrude Harriet THORNE who married Samuel WEBB.

I do have another STEARNS name that was married into my JACKSON line.
Gertrude Jackson b. 1877, daughter of Isaac C. and Elizabeth HENRY JACKSON,
married Alvin STEARNS on Sept. 15, 1897. I would like to know more of that
family also.

So if anyone knows of the STEARNS in Crawford Co. I would appreciate it. It
would be interesting to know if the two STEARNS are of the same family.
