Dear List Members,
This week I recieved a small amount of information
from the researcher at St.Titus Church on my O'Neill ancestors.
It contained a few new names,so I am putting them on the list
in hopes that someone may know of them.

My g-grandparents were Henry (aka Harry)O'NEILL,b.1845 Ireland
and Bridget Kennedy O'NEILL,b.Ireland.They arrived in the US in 1860.
He worked in the new Oil Fields and she took in Roomers.
They had several children. My grandmother was born in 1878;she was
Helen O'Neill Douglas, she married William A.DOUGLAS in Bayonne abt
1898.Some of her siblings were Katherine(Kit) who moved to Jamestown,
NY and married a GALVIN,Nora who married a HUNT in Bayonne,Philip
and Henry who moved to Bayonne,NJ.

The St Titus records show:
Mariam,b.Nov.1,1869..Baptised by Fr.Sheridan.Godparents were
James FINDLEY and Marie COADY.

Hanna,b.Apr.1871..Baptised by Fr.MIGNAULT.Godparents were
Cryus MORE and Bridget KELLY.

Henry,b.Nov.1873,Baptised by Fr.COADY.Godparents were Thomas COADY and
Mrs.Edward COADY.

My g-grandparents remained in Titusville until 1882.Anyone
have ideas on why there is no record of the baptisms of their
other children?

Also there is a record of a Nora O'Neill died in 1948,she
could be the wife of one of my grandmothers brothers.
Some of these O'Neills remained in Titusville because
I have pictures of my grandmother visiting there as an adult.

I would appreciate any help on these ancestors.
And will share any info that I do have.

Thank you,
Barbara Cain
