Annette -
I was wondering if I could intrude on your offer for a lookup on the 1890
census. I have several ancestors buried in the Kerr Hill (Gresham) cemetery
just outside of Titusville whose grave markers indicated they served in the
Civil War and wondered if they were listed in this census. I don't have
townships, since basically all I know is names and info about where they
served from their grave markers. However, Titusville & surrounding towns
would be most likely.
SH McGinnett (Samuel H) - Co D 16th PA Cav.
John McGinnett - Co G 129th PA Vol
SZ(? - marker too weathered) McGinnett - Co G 127th PA Inf
Names could have only 1 "t" on the end - census seemed to do that on earlier
years.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Kathy
