Miss Bertha Lawrence, youngest daughter of Rev. and Mrs. W. A. Lawrence
died at the family home near Corry on Tuesday, aged about 18 years. The
parents were former residents of Spring township, spending their lives
here until Rev. Lawrence two years ago accepted the pastorate of the
church which he is now serving. Beside her parents, she leaves sisters,
Mrs. John Martin of South Carolina; Mrs. Frank Rockwell of Titusville;
Mrs. Frank Greenlee of Spring township, and Misses Florence and Mina at
home. The funeral will be held at the Weleyan Mission church in
Springboro on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock.

Mrs. Adelia JOHNSON, widow of C. W. Johnson, died at the home of her
son, G. L. Johnson in this place on Friday night, aged nearly 82 years.
The family home was in Conneaut township for many years, and after the
death of her husband, a few years ago, Mrs. Johnson made her home with
her children. She had been in feeble health for a year. she leaves
five sons, Gurdon L. and Reuben S. of this place, John and Frank of
Elyria, OH and Ephriam of Coldwater, Mich. and two daughters, Mrs. Lee
Frisbee of Conneaut township and Mrs. Wm. H. Walton of Albion. The
funeral was held at the Shaw church on Sunday, Rev. J. C. Hadlock
officiating and interment in the Shaw cemetery. All the children were
present except the son in Michigan. (This is my JOHNSON family -- please
