I, also , have many relatives from Chautauqua County, NY, (where Jamestown is)
who ended up in Crawford County, or who have connections there. The Taylors,
Wethlis, Burch's, Rowlands, and even one Davenport were born in the county. I
know that the Wethlis were engaged in growing grapes in Chautauqua County for
the Welch company. About the others, I have no idea what the connection may
have been. As far as I know, there are no vinyards in Crawford county -- are
