James T. Donahue Overcome
By an Attack of Apoplexy
Sunday Evening.
Announcement of the death of James T. Donahue, which occurred last night
at nine oclock, brought a feeling of keen regret to relatives and friends
in the city. Mr. Donahue was overcome by a stroke of apoplexy at the corner
of North Park avenue and Scott street, when he was returning from town
with his daughter Miss Rhea Donahue, where the father and daughter had
gone on an errand for the mother, who has been ill. He was taken into the
home of Hon. Warren Thomas and medical aid summoned. He did not regain
consciousness and died about an hour later.
Mr. Donahue had resided in Warren for many years, coming here from Titusville,
Pa., where he was born on July 28, 1864. He spent many years in the employ
of the Sterling Electric Company, and was at the present time serving as
manager of the Elliott Electric Co., of Cleveland.
During the years of his residence in Warren he has won the high esteem
of his business associates and enjoyed the friendship of a large circle
of people in the city. He was a man of fine character, high principle and
devoted to his family in an unusual way. He was a member of the U.C.T.
and is survived by his wife and one daughter, Miss Rhea Donahue.

afternoon at 2 oclock, when Rev. Burkhart will officiate, interment will
be made in Oakwood Cemetery
