Death of David M. Boyd

David M. Boyd died at his home in Cambridge Springs about 9 o'clock Wednesday
morning, at the age of 84 years. Mr. Boyd, representative of one of Crawford
County's oldest families, was born at Mosiertown and followed farming nearly
all his long lifetime, retiring about eight years ago, when he took up
his residence in Cambridge Springs. He was a member of the Baptist Church
in his home town and enjoyed the esteem of all who knew him. He is survived
by his wife, two sons and two daughters, Harry Boyd, of Hayfield; Elmer
Boyd-Saegertown; Mrs. J.N. Mosier, Hayfield and Mrs. Belle Davis, of Cleveland,
O. He also leaves one sister, Miss Sophia L. Boyd, of Meadville.
Funeral services will be held at the home in Cambridge Springs at 1 o'clock
Friday afternoon and the interment will be made in the Saegertown Cemetery,
where the funeral party expects to arrive about 2:15 o'clock.
