I am a grandniece of Elma and Phila Alexander Bunting and knew them well.
Phila Alexander's grandmother was a Smith who married John Fox Alexander

John Fox Alexander married Candace Smith and they had 12 children. Two
of them were twins, namely Philo Ray (male) and Phila May (female), born
March 3, 1866.
Phila married 1-1-1885 Elma Bunting and they had the following children:
1. MYRTLE (Belle) Bunting - m Edward T. Lee
2. Dorus RAY (called Ray)
3. Elma ROSS (called Ross)
4. MILDRED (Candace Adelle) (called Mildred)
5. Reid
