Kathy,

I certainly feel you are entitled to your own opinion and the opportunity to
express it in any way you wish. It does bother me, that you choose to
express it for the group without bothering to check with any of the other
list members felt the same way first.

Personally, I do care. I find the missing "o" a little offensive. Perhaps my
ancestors were illiterate and didn't spell crawford the way the county
courthouse does. I'd like to think we've come a long way since then.

However, I don't believe that this list is a democracy. Kathleen is the list
admin and whether, and I think she was pretty clear that she doesn't care one
way or the other if we like the prepend or not. Never mind that most of us
were here first. The option is always there to unsubscribe or go start
another list or whatever.

I'm quite certain Kathleen is doing a good job at maintaining this list, but
am really confused at what all you believe a list admin does that requires so
much support.

I did not find the first message "petty or nasty" at all. I did notice that
it wasn't full of words in all caps.

And, lastly, since you've pointed out that it's perfectly fine to express
your OWN opinion, I really find it offensive that you shared with the list an
email that appears to have been sent to you privately. Or at least, let me
say, that I didn't receive anything on the list from

Speaking only on my own behalf and not expressing or implying to express the
opinions of others.

Charlie
