Hello Crawford County Researchers,
A big thanks to everyone on this line you’ve all been so helpful. I’m
wondering if Crawford County had any city directories in the earlier
years of 1894 through 1910. I’m trying to track when Burton HANEY and
his family might have been in the county and when they left. Seems after
1900 Burton HANEY can’t be located in the census, perhaps he moved to
Ohio or elsewhere. He should have with him at least one of the couples 4
children. I was told the children were taken or placed in foster care.
Someone from the FHC did research on son Burton and son Brady but not
John, Frank and Mildred and I’m thinking maybe these three were placed
in adoption and the line ends there hence the LDS researcher not being
able to track them.
Any other Crawford County research suggestions would be appreciated.
