Thanks, I think that your information most likely eliminates Daniel Faust being
the father, but I have one question, Do you know if Sarah had any prior
marriages?
I am sending you the following information in case it helps you:
In the book A Comprehensive History of the Town of Gratz, Pennsylvania by The
Gratz Historical Society 1997, p. 401

"Ludwig Faust from whom our area Faust family descended, (b Jan 12, 1760 - d Apr
27, 1806 in Bern Township[Berks County]), m Oct 11, 1784, Hannah Kiefer (b. Aug
25, 1763 - d Nov. 12,, 1812(, both bur St. Michaels Cem. Bern Township"

miner) bur Simeon Cem. Alone, married to Elizabeth Salada b. Mar 1, 1819 - Sep 4,
1889, buried Simeon Cem., alone. Elizabeth married after Daniel died, 2nd David
Clark (Oct 24, 1808 - Nov 6, 1871, then third she married Simon Hepner.

Daniel and Elizabeth (Salada)Faust had these children:

Simon Henry b. c 1842
Daniel or Emmanuel b. c. 1844
Marie Elizabeth b. Sep 12, 1844
Corneliuus b. Oct 10, 1846 in Gratz, d. Dec 10, 1903 Shamokin, PA
*Sarah b. c. 1849
Malinda b. Feb 28, 1852, Gratz, d Jun 25, 1915 Steelton, bur. in Sunbury.

*Indicates the direct line to Sarah Faust b. c. 1849

Does this information further confirm your Sarah's parentage?
