I can't help you much on your RHOADES or LINGLE families but my
GGgrandfather, HENRY J. BEYERLE was also born in PA. in 1823. He married
LYDIA BIXLER. Their son, my great grandfather, ALEXANDER R. BEYERLE was born
in Linglestown, Pa and married FRANCELIA E. BARBER. They also migrated to
Allen County, Ohio in the 1850s and then to Elkhart, IN in the 1870s. I have
found a lot of information at the courthouse in Goshen, IN and at the Health
Department in Elkhart. You might try there if you need more information.
HENRY AND ALEXANDER owned the Goshen Times newspaper for some time and I have
collected information there. Many of the BEYERLEs are buried at the Oak
Ridge cemetery in Goshen, another source of information.
