Trying to locate your Peter Myers, and as Margaret married in Cumberland
county, I though perhaps Peter's parents may have moved there around 1841
"at the latest" (gives Margaret time to meet and be courted by John Wolf if
he was from Cumberland). In the 1860 Silver Springs, Cumberland, Pa census
finds Margaret and John with daughter Catherine (6), Joseph(4) and twin
girls Eliz and Mary E.(1 month old). 8 doors away is 17-yr-old Peter Myers,
working on the Henry and Sarah Rupp farm.
I also noticed that both Peter and Margaret named their first daughters
Catherine, so I assume that is the name of their mother. Going back to
Silver Spring twp, there is a Frederick and Catherine Myers living there in
1850, but this Catherine died in 1862, so can't be your Peter's mother. But
there are a whole bunch of Myers in Cumberland county, so you might want to
check there.
Good luck
