Seeking info to determine if James Shaw, b. 1800 in Saddleworth, Yorkshire,
England and died Oct. 26, 1827 in Chester, PA was related to Samuel Shaw, b.
1707 in Lincolnshire, England and died Sept. 20, 1783 in Chester, PA.
Info available on James is as follows:
1. Came to America from England in 1866
2. Was married to Betty Andrew who d. 1863
3. Children were: Elizabeth, James, Andrew, William, Samuel, Hugh, and John
Info available on Samuel is as follows:
1. Second wife was Hannah Smith
2. Their children were: William, Hannah, James, Jane and Lydia
3. Hannah married Passmore West; James married Jane Sharpless; Jane
married Ephraim Pearson; and Lydia married Jacob Peterson.
