Posting this notice to several Pennsylvania counties, so please excuse if it
pops up on more than one of your lists:

Looking for any and all Kaylors in Maryland, including spelling variants
such as Kayler, Caylor, Kailer, Kahler, etc. Just starting a new surname
database to list information such as the time period and location in
Maryland, names of parents, birth date/location, death date/location, name
of spouse and name of contact person who submitted the information. Also
including index material found in various sources.

Hoping to help Kaylor researchers locate common threads. The database
is not a listing for one family tree, but rather will be a compilation of
many different Kaylor families. Submissions are needed. The more names
that are submitted, the greater the chance researchers will be able
to find others who are searching the same family lines.

My own ancestors, George Kaylor (ca 1777-1856) and Margaret Unknown Maiden
Name (ca 1780-1855) lived in Baltimore circa 1800-1856.
According to the 1850 federal census for Baltimore City Margaret was born
in Pennsylvania and George was born in Germany (Prussia).
Have been unable to find Margaret 's origins in Pennsylvania. Will list
more info on this in another posting.

Please tell others who might be interested in this new database. If you
think there would be interest in expanding the database to include
Pennsylvania, please let me know.
