Hello again,

Please let me apologize for my message being posted 3 times to the Delaware
Co. list!! It had been bounced back to me 3 times as undeliverable, so I sent
it on the the listowner (once) hoping to have it go through, but NOT 3 times!!
Sorry...hi-tech, and hi-tech glitches sometimes.

Thank you Betsy and Anne for the information about the quarries in the area;
this is a good possibility I will have to look into further. But, can anyone
give me a lead into where, or what archive or courthouse I might start looking
for records? I realize Delaware County was created from Chester County, but
that was in 1789, and my SHEAHAN ancestors were in Del. Co. most likely from
about 1870, so I wouldn't expect to find records in Chester County for
them.(however, if that's where the trail leads, then that's where I'll go...)

I don't have access to a Delaware County phone book, so if I can't find the
addresses and phone numbers from anyone on this list, I guess I'll have to
resort to the "old-fashioned" method of picking up the phone and going through
Ma Bell to dig up this info.....

Geez, not too computer dependent anymore..... ;-)
