Dear Philip,

I just did a lookup for someone else on William and Rebekah (Hewes) Booth. It appears that William Booth was the son of Robert Booth who was the son of Robert and Betty (Caston) Booth of Chichester.

William and Rebekah had the following children:

Lydia, b. 2/2/1770
Mary b. 6/15/1775
Elizabeth, b. 2/15/1773
Robert, b. 4/15/1775
William, b. 2/21/1778
Benjamin, b. 5/29/1780***
Rebecca, b. 6/11/1782

***This is the only mention of Benjamin Booth in Concord Monthly Meeting Minutes, by Peden and Launey, Family Line Publications, Westminster, MD, 1997.

William's father was evidently Robert Booth, the son of Robert and Betty (Caston) Booth. In 1737 he was granted a certificate by Concord to go to Newark Monthly Meeting. There is no further mention of him in Concord Monthly Meeting.

Hope this helps.

<< Dear List;

I am new to this list and am endeavoring to connect my Benjamin Booth (b.
May 1780) to William Booth of this county. I believe that Benjamin was his
son. I am also trying to take the connection back to Robert Booth who came
from England 1713 married to Elizabeth Caston (Gaston).

Any BOOTH(E) info would help.

Regards
