Some of you may be way ahead of me.........and for those who are not, I must
share, with Diehl / Deal researchers, the following data. After two years of
research, a clue was discovered about 1:00 AM this morning, and with the
gracious help of several Delaware Co., PA researchers the following discovery
has surfaced.

The original theory among the Deals, location later disproven by LUCY DEAL
GARLAND, was that "our branch" came from Deale Island, in the Chesapeake Bay,
off the coast of the State of Delaware. Actually, they were born on Tinicum
Island, in the Delaware River, off the coast of Delaware Co. (formerly
Chester Co.) PA. It would appear that our ancestors traveled the
Philadelphia Wagon Road and/or the Fall Line Road, from Pennsylvania, to
their new homes in Georgia.

There is much to be researched and I hope that this bit of information will
be of help to all of us, I know that I am very excited.
