Here's something that may help everyone. I located a free service for
scanning my e-mails and computer in general to get rid of viruses/worms and
to prevent new ones. It has worked beautifully, has cost me nothing, and
no--I'm not affiliated with the company. First, one thing you should know:
noone has control over what messages distribute the virus, so it may not be
aimed at anyone in particular or coming from anyone in particular. Clear
as mud? DH, the computer consultant who specializes in the internet,
explains it much better--sorry if I'm unclear.

Here's a link that I hope you find helpful. It detected a worm I had, and
it has kept several more from doing any harm by alerting me with a pop-up
window. www.grisoft.com is the link to AVG, which does offer a free trial
version without a time limit to using it.

Laurie, who also doesn't usually do this
