don't know if anyone else did -- so I'm posting again. Very sorry

My name is Helen FALLS --
my grandfather was Alonzo B. ATKINS,
his father was Josiah Alonzo Bayard ATKINS, b. 1846,
his father was James Alonza Bayard ATKINS b. 1816.

I have been unable to find the father & mother of James A. Bayard
ATKINS. I think that he may have married a daughter of the James A.
BAYARD family who were in Wilmington, Del. and were congressmen for

Delaware. I visited Chester Co. Historical Society, DCHS, Swarthmore

College, Archives in West Chester, and found a lot of biographical

information but not the children of the BAYARD, I am looking for.
Since they were so prominent in Delaware I feel that it would not
to hard to find out whether my theory is correct.


I was in Pa. but discovered this information on Friday, but had to
return here to Florida on the 22nd of Sep. Is there anyone that would
have any info or suggestion that would be of help to me
