It is phenomenal how a line could grow like that. It also is unlikely
because when we get back that far, there weren't that many people running
around. Often when we get back a few generations, especially when people were
in the same geographic location for awhile, we find that someone married
someone that was second or third cousin. and the lines grow back into
themselves. (Does putting it that way make sense?) For example, I have one
line where I am descended from two sisters in the same family. My in-laws,
growing up in opposite corners of Idaho have common lines when the tree gets
back into New England, though they didn't know that when they got married.
It is interesting to know what the potential is though.
