Oh, I must tell you about a Siamese cat I owned (who owned me!). I lived
on the second floor of an apartment building outside Cleveland. We were
somewhat across from a racetrack. Each morning I opened the window and the
cat went out on the ledge and made her way down the building...I suspected
she had a paramour at the track.

Each evening she would scale the building and come inside. One day she
entered the wrong apartment. I heard a horrific scream and a woman
shouting, "It's a RAT! It's a RAT!!!"

I'm enjoying all these stories about the pets in our lives, thanks the warm
memories. Anna
