Vee,

Maybe you should move to Minnesota where there is no snow and the weather is
almost balmy. It is in the 30s to 40s with rain forcast for Sunday and
Monday. The 8-14 day forecast is for more of the same.

White Christmas. The snow was heavy on the tree branches and it was the
piicture-perfect scene of a white Christmas Day.

the newspaper at the end of the driveway, I could tell that we had a bit of
a deep snow last night. It was all that I could do to push the door open.
At the same time I realized that I would have to dig out my snow boots to
wade through the snow.

therefore I didn't need to plod through even deeper snow at the end of my
driveway.

barely see the footsteps I had left n the snow. And it continued to snow.
>
> The snowplows eventually came through in full force and I knew what that
meant. I knew that I would be knee deep in snow just to get out to my
mailbox and even more than that, there was no way that my car could break
through the pile of snow at the end of my driveway. Therefore I was totally
snowbound. I panicked.
>

I called her father and got an iffy promise. That just wouldn't do so I
took matters into my own hands and called my next door neighbor whom I
barely know. I know that Steve is in the landscaping business and lawn
mowing business and I was prepared to pay whatever price he would name to
plow out my driveway.
>

Christmas Night and my driveway is now plowed right down to the blacktop and
all the way out to the road.
>
> I guess that for some reason Steve felt that it was the thing to do for a
neighbor who was feeling helpless.
