Brewery in Pottsville, Schuylkill County. (Trivia: oldest brewery in the
United States & still owned by the Yuenglings.) At the end of the tour they
give you samples of beer, and I don't drink (hate the taste, always have) so
they offered me Birch beer instead--it was great! I didn't think to ask what
kind it was, though. It was a pale champagne color.

(More trivia: Pottstville is also very close to the Mrs. T's Pierogies
factory, and you get samples at the end of that tour as well!)

The kind my uncle used to make was dark like root beer, and that was the best
I've ever tasted, probably just because he made it. The kind I usually see
in our grocery stores is red or clear, and they're both pretty good.
