Dear Tracy,

I had to smile at that question. I don't need to hire an exterminator to
tell me that. I KNOW where they're coming in from. They're walking bold as
brass through all of the chinks in the foundation of my house. My house was
built in the 1920s and its foundation is in about as bad a shape as I am.

I don't know but you may be right on that score. Nonetheless I shudder to
think of the germs kids bring into their houses. For certain I'd catch a
cold or the flu on a periodic basis even though my health were a lot better.
At least with mice I can sanitize after them.
