its 25l miles from beford to turkey swamp county camp grounds in new jersey. this wonderful wooded retreat was established in the '60tys. it is 22 miles from ocean grove, a united methodist conference center, complete with a wonderful large great auditorium, and great old rooming houses, all decked out like the "painted ladies" over in cape may. we frequented two of the events this past weekend, a saturday noon pipe organ concert and a sunday evening massed choir concert with 3000
singers from all churches...
yesterday, monday, we drove 111 miles from turkey swamp in 95 degree heat,
to our favorite r.v. park, shady grove, near ephrata pa. it is about 25 miles from roots farmer's market between manheim and east petersburg, and held on tuesday, and then we will attend green dragon, friday night, which is closer to us. we will return to bedford on saturday. happy summer to you all. until we meet on the open road once again in august...shazam
