Hello, Don.

Yes, it is quiet on the list. Dale and I had a wonderfully quiet morning at
home, then we went to some friends' house for their annual Open House for
Friends and Family for the afternoon into the evening. We had not spent
any time with them in about a year, so it was good to go there and see every
one.

My husband gave me a chime clock that plays a Christmas song every hour,
except during the night for an 8-hour period. Then I also received my
rooster wine bottle holder. We had seen it in one of the stores earlier in
the year and I loved it. It reminds me of the cartoon where the chick is
laying on his back, feet up, not moving, except for his eyes and the dad
rooster is saying, "I say, Boy! Boy? What are you doing there, Boy!?" and
the chick whispers, "Shhhhhh................. chicken hawk!" He fits in
fine with the rest of the chicks and roosters we have. Last year I gave
Dale a Russian-made, large, carved out wooden egg holding a hen and eggs.
Many years before that, I purchased a Russian-made chicken that comes apart
like a Matryoshka (Matrushka) doll that has eggs inside with chicks inside
the eggs. I have quite a collection of Russian toys, Matryoshkas, and
hand-painted eggs. I love the artwork.

Well, I must run. I am happy to hear you and your family had a nice
Christmas together. I'll bet your poodle had the best Christmas ever,
too!!! He gets to play with Dad and the new toys. I'll bet it is quite
funny to watch. Hmmmm..... I need something like that to entertain the
cats...... LOL

Hugs,
Mary

Boy, it sure is quiet on our list. I trust that everybody had a wonderful
Christmas. We had a good time with most of our family being here for the
day. My son-in-law gave me a small radio controlled helicopter and we have
been having fun with it. Our little poodle likes to chase it and bark at it.
When I have it sitting on the floor he tries to bite the rotors, but then
backs up and barks. When I fly it he chases it unless it gets behind him,
then he tries to get away from it.
