In York co Church Records of the 18th Century vol 2 under records of the
first Moravian church,
Francis Lewis /Franz Ludwig Beroth/Berot born at Asheim in the Palatine on
29 Jan 1699 came to US in 1738. Married 1st Catherine Rensen on 6 Oct 1722
and 2nd Susanna Reiter at ,Oppa on 6 Oct 1733. Children of Francis and
Catherine were John b 13 Nov 1725 Anna Catherine b 18 Feb 1728,Johanna
Barbara b 12 Dec 1729, Maria Schon b 8 Aug 1732. Children of Francis and
Susanna were John Paul b 12 Feb 1735, Abraham b 3 Feb 1737, John Jacob b 1
Apr 1740, Maria Elizabeth and Catherine b 14 Feb 1742,Anna Margaret b 16 Jan
1746 and Henry b 9 May 1746, unnamed infant b 28 Sep.
Susanna died 28 Feb 1778 and Franz Ludwig on 17 Aug 1778. There is more
about them in the book.
