James C. Shuey, 50, of Grove Street, Johnsonburg, died
Sunday at his residence following a lengthy illness.

He was born June 22, 1954 in Ridgway, son of James R.
and Maxine Pat Sweeney Shuey of Johnsonburg.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by a
daughter, Joleen Shuey of Johnsonburg; and a sister,
Karen Shuey of St. Marys.

He was predeceased by his grandparents.

Mr. Shuey was a lifelong resident of Johnsonburg and
graduated from Johnsonburg High School, class of 1972.
He was employed by Motion Control and had also been
employed as a custodian for Johnsonburg High School.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church,
Johnsonburg, was a Johnsonburg volunteer fireman and
enjoyed woodworking.

There will be no visitation.

A Memorial Mass of the Resurrection for James C. Shuey
will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary
Catholic Church, Johnsonburg, with the Rev. David J.
Wilson, pastor, officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the
Ubel Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Helpmates Hospice, 225 South
Street, Ridgway, PA 15853.
