Hazel M. Yurick, 80, of Jefferson St., Byrnedale died
Friday at the DuBois Nursing Home after a lengthy
illness.

Born on August 21, 1924 in Philadelphia, she was the
daughter of the late Jas and Laura (Gross) McQue.

She married George Yurick on April 19, 1947.

Mrs. Yurick is survived by one daughter, Joanne
Barnett of Byrnedale; one son, George Yurick of New
Castle and two grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents and husband, who
died in 1995.

Mrs. Yurick was a homemaker and attended Weedville
Wesleyan Church. She was born and raised in
Philadelphia and lived in Cape May, NJ and Essington,
PA. She lived in Byrnedale for the past 18 years.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13 from 2-4
p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Ralph Greer Funeral Home in
Penfield and on Monday, March 14 from 10-11 a.m. at
the Weedville Wesleyan Church.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the
church with Pastor Luther Nelson, Jr. officiating.

Burial will take place at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in
Ridgway.
