Kathy Ann Retort Lepovetsky, 45, of 619 Sunset Road,
St. Marys, died Friday at Union Township, Corsica, as
a result of an automobile accident.

She was born July 23, 1959, in New Castle, daughter of
Eugene and Phyllis Gennaro Retort, of Bessemer, PA,
who survive.

On June 25, 1988, she married Dr. Neal Lepovetsky, who
survives. Also surviving are three sisters, Corinne
(Mrs. Timothy) Brown of Edinburg, PA, Valerie (Mrs.
Mark) Golik of Wexford, PA, Mary (Mrs. Jerry) George
of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene D.
Retort.

Mrs. Lepovetsky was employed by Hoffman Auto and Truck
Repair as an accountant for 15 years. She was a 1977
graduate of Mohawk High School and graduated from
Clarion University with a bachelors degree in
accounting. She was a member of the St. Mary's Church,
a member of the American Association of University
Women in the position of a national officer, was an
officer in the St. Marys Hometown Festival Committee,
a member of the Alpha XI Delta Sorority, a member of
the Elk County Humane Society and other animal rights
groups.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Kathy Ann Lepovetsky
will be celebrated in the St. Mary's Catholic Church
Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., with the Rev. Frank
Ziemkiewicz, OSB, as celebrant. Burial will be in the
St. Mary's Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Terry A. Cunningham Funeral
Home in Bessemer, PA today from 5-8 p.m. and at the
Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, St. Marys, Tuesday from
7-9 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Elk County
Humane Society or to the American Association of
University Women.
