Yes, this book is available from the Erie County Historical Society. I just
bought it 2 weeks ago. It is a 2 volume set, the first volume being a history
of Erie county and the second containing all the biographical sketches. I am
not sure how long a period it covers but it was written in 1896. It seems to
me from what I have been reading that most of the people written about lived
between 1800 and the time of publication although there are references to
birthdates in the 1700's. The complete set cost $59.95. I am very pleased
with my purchase. I myself have ne amcestors in the book. My main reason for
purchasing it was for the history of Erie and to do lookups for others.
If you need the address for the Historical Society, let me know and I will
post it to the list.
